ABOUT ME

We went from living in the Southeast of the United States to Southeast China, a few hours from Hong Kong, and are now back in the USA. We have now returned home after teaching in China for a year and a half. Andy is going to music school to study jazz guitar in the fall of 2007 and Tiffany dabbles with the idea of... going back to school for metal/jewelry design and also taking some classes in photography and sculpture, working in print media or interior decorating, or being a mime.

PHILOSOPHY

I heard it said live simply
so others can simply live
yes I believe in karma
and you get just what you give
but I don't feel the pressure
that seems to surround me
I guess I just choose to ignore it
like when the goggles press up against my face
when I dive deep into the sea

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

both: kayaked on the Mekong, saw Ho Chi Minh's corpse, traveled through 11 provinces in China, made it to Everest, stood on the Great Wall, spent Valentine's in Bangkok, saw Angkor Wat
Tiffany: saw the Mona Lisa, sat where Shakespeare sat, walked where Marie Antoinette walked, Climbed the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan, saw Diego Rivera's murals in the Mexican National Palace
*I should also mention that... I almost drowned in the Mekong, thought I was going to die of altitude sickness in Tibet, sprained my ankle at Angkor Wat and had food poisoning in Laos. But, I survived!
Andy: built trails in the jungles of Costa Rica, did a homestay with a family in Nicaragua, backpacked alone through Central America and Mexico
