ABOUT ME

I'm a curious 24 year old that just bought a huge van and am exploring America with my best friend and wide eyes. I was raised by old intellectual hippies in the north of California and have traveled all my life. I was raised on a farm but have had plenty of metropolitan experiences and am craving more! I studied community studies in college and have a huge interest in discovering different cultures. I myself have a varied cultural heritage. My father is from Germany and my mother is from Japan.
Sarcasm and silliness are an integral part of my daily life. So is good food and solid people. I love meeting new characters and allowing people to inspire change in my own perception of the world.
I love dance music and surround myself with many people who also enjoy it. Electronic music is a very important feature in my life and has created many memorable experiences for me. my friends at are dj's and producers inspire me so much and I feel lucky to have so much creative energy in my life.
I'm currently living on the road across America and am really excited to see what comes my way.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone should do what they want while simultaneously respecting that right for everyone. Difficult, I know. I just think that too many people go through life doing what they think they should be doing rather than doing what they actually want to do. I don't know what life is really all about but I don't think it is about the daily grind which has come to dominate life for most people.

I have just heard about how great couch surfing is from friends for years and am really excited to finally discover what it's all about.

Interests

Meeting eccentric people, cooking, traveling, electronic music, watching the sunrise with beautiful friends, making people laugh, learning new things that make you change how you think about everything, thrift stores, dancing, philosophy, encouraging people to do what they want.

I can teach people how to cook and I also know a great deal about anarchist philosophy and social politics. I do not have anything in particular that I would like to learn but am open to absorb anything that tickles my fancy at that moment.
