I enjoy talking to people from different cultures and backgrounds. I'm Japanese grew up in New Zealand. I've mainly travelled in NZ, Japan and Europe. I can give you some travelling tips in NZ or Japan. My interest to go travelling in Europe initially stemmed from my love of classical music. I wish to keep travelling and visit new places. I'm also very much interested in history. When I visit a new city, I like to visit the museum to learn its history. I'd love to know any history of the place you come from. I'm also interested in other fields I'd love to learn anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have great memories of the time I spent Couchsurfing in Europe and in NZ I think it’s a unique way to travel. Meeting a local person is really a priceless experience.

Interests

I love music! and food! My friends tell me that I'm a foodie. It's just another way to experience culture. I'd rather eat pasta than learn a phrase in Italian... ok that just sounds plain laziness but you catch my drift. I enjoy doing nature walks, visiting gardens, shopping, pilates, tidying up (there's definitely a bit of Marie Kondo in me!), eating out and sharing recipes and cooking together.

I don't go as often as I like to but I really enjoy going to live music concerts especially classical music ones as I love acoustic instruments although I did really enjoyed Taylor Swift concert last year. I love cultural shows and festivals.

I also like shopping I'd love to go shopping with a local person. I can show you the best shopping and souvenirs around here.
