I am a 68 year young ex theatre lighting and sound designer. Always been a musician on both guitar and mandolin and generally travel with one or the other. Retirement has given me a bit more free time which I often use for filming and editing, the filming doesn't take too long but those editing programs take a lot of dedication. Also using computer to record music and maybe try and tie the two things together sometime. At the moment I'm working on a stop motion animation film, lots to do making puppets and scenery and looking forward to bringing it all together.

Although happily living with my partner Emma, we sometimes have different timetables which means I may be doing some solo traveling and it would be good to meet some people along the way. As a 17/18 yr old I did quite a lot of travelling in Europe and met many people, couchsurfing hadn't been invented back then, which nurtured my belief in the 'family of man'. Career and music gave me opportunities to travel more but now I feel it's time to learn more about my neighbours in Europe and hopefully make some more friends.
