About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to experience the diversity of cultures and landscapes that exist in this great world.
ABOUT ME
I would likely be described by a friend as honest, hardworking, passionate, and possibly even as clean and well dressed :)
PHILOSOPHY
I do not have any rigid philosophical belief system. I believe trust and tolerance are virtues and essential traits of humanity. However, one should not abandon scepticism or critical analyses because of misguided ‘faith’ or ‘trust.’
Interests
I am truly interested in unique people and cultures. I love experiencing the wonders of nature, through hiking, biking, and climbing mountains. I am passionate about history and politics and how humanity progresses and regresses over time. I love searching for the lessons that are derived from observing politics, history, and human nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love far too many forms of music to begin a list here.. My favourite genres include (North American / Anglo/Irish) Folk, Jazz (Bop, Bee-Bop, Cool, Dixie Land) Blues, old school Country (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc.), Rock, Hip-hop, Raggae, Ska, and so on. I pretty much love all forms of music!
I love a lot of books, some of my favourites include: The Grapes of Wrath - Steinbeck; Bound for Glory - Woody Guthrie; Animal Farm - Orwell; Brave New World - Huxley; The Picture of Dorian Gray - Wilde; Playing Dead - Wiebe;â
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving down the coastal highway from Vancouver to Big Surr California was absolutely amazing. I knew it would be great, but it was so absolutely fantastic that I can hardly recount why. It was just TOO awesome.
Similarly, galavanting around Scotland, climbing mountains, and soaking up the rich history was phenomenal.
I have taken a couple trips up to the Yukon Territory and Alaska. Both of which are beautiful places with fantastic local cultures.
Teach, Learn, Share
hmmm.. I have lots of thoughts and opinions to share. These are based on a well rounded education in history and political science. I tend to spread knowledge of the world, as understood through my own ideological prism. But I adapt and change positions in accordance with what I learn. Thus, what I know and can share is based in part by what others have taught and shared with me. As we know, learning is a cyclical process.
