ABOUT ME

Okay so let's see...I'm Boston born and London raised. I'm a decent mix between a country girl/city girl/beach girl...basically I like adventures- any place that gives me the chance to experience new things is fantastic in my book. I love thunderstorms, I think they're gorgeous. I love hiking, skiing, singing, writing, kayaking*especially down waterfalls*. I'm mildly schizo in my ability to be loud and laughing one second and then quiet and pensive the next...but according to my friends its relatively sweet. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hmm. Haven't done much yet. I joined CS a few years ago and then promptly forgot about it. Oops. I'm traveling again for a little while and my friend suggested that I give it a try- so here I am! Giving it a try...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met this one girl who's couchsurfing across the globe as a slam poet filming a documentary on slam poetry--- all of her experiences sounded so fantastic that it encouraged me to give couchsurfing another chance (I'll admit- I was a little skeptical at first!)

Interests

Singing in the rain, sprinting to the nearest gelataria, sitting in the sun reading/or writing, calling home and not regreting spending my last cent to talk to my best friend, art in all its forms, music in all its forms, history in most forms, shopping for random objects (rings/hats/medals/presents/bean bags/buddhas in flea markets and street vendors. Clapping for good buskers in the underground, climbing willow trees, jumping into freezing cold lakes in vermont in early march...Taking off a runway, sleeper trains, postcards, photography...

Music! I love music! I love classic rock, pop, rap, opera....you name it and I'll listen to it. There are definitely genres I prefer- but I'll listen to anything.

Movies-Princess Bride, Escape from New York, Finding Neverland, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, Disney movies, Indiana Jones movies, Crap Chick flicks- despite their repitivity I swoon every time, His Girl Friday, Roman Holiday, East of Eden, Rebel Without A Cause, Blazing Saddles, The Producers....Really anything created by Mel Brooks, Fight Club, Saved, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Elizabethtown, Accepted, Back to the Future, Cutthroat Island, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Dogma...
