ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Rochester, New York completing my second year of a unique joint master of arts program. This program has taken me to Toronto, France, Scotland, and now here in Rochester.

I am originally from Canada, a country I love, but have traveled to other countries. I traveled around Europe and the UK (France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Czech Republic, Poland, Spain).

I really enjoy watching movies, reading, hanging out with friends, going for drinks, and visiting cultural institutions. When traveling I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them while sightseeing, over food/drinks, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

To be open minded and genuine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a surfer many times, however, I have hosted only once (due to lousy accommodations), but would really love to show people around the city where I am living!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in France, Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales.
I have met many amazing people during my experience with couch surfing. All of them have been so kind and generous, not only with the accommodation they offered, but also with the amount of time some of my hosts have spent touring me around. I saw and experienced many things that I would have normally overlooked, or never known about.

My first experience was probably my favourite. Having no idea whatsoever to expect I was blown away with the generosity of my host. Since my first experience I am always excited to see who I will meet next and I am usually never disappointed with the variety of people I end up meeting.

Interessi

I enjoy reading, watching movies of all kinds, hanging out and talking, photography, art, traveling, softball....

Musica, film e libri

I like reading memoirs/biographies, however, I enjoy any book that I can't put down.

Movies, I like independent movies but I love watching movies and so I will watch most movies, but no scary ones.

As for music, I like indie, folk, pop/rock.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I loved the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. I have never seen anything like that before and since that experience. I was not only beautiful, but there was also a lot to learn about how it came to be. Actually, the whole time I spent in Northern Ireland was great it was so beautiful.
