About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On a fossil fuel free trip around the U.S. in search of hope and change.
ABOUT ME
I am on a fossil fuel-free, cross-country trip, running on empty in search of many things: veggie oil for the next leg of my trip, hope, extra pens, a place to sleep...and the New America.
Exploring hope, my own and others', in an attempt to identify why we are still spiraling about in a universe with no end in sight.
PHILOSOPHY
"We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down." Kurt Vonnegut

Music, Movies, and Books
Lately, I've been reading a lot of non-fiction on alternative fuels, ie: "The End of Oil," "Over a Barrel," "Biofuel America." Began rereading "The Hero with a Thousand Faces." Some favorite novels: "If on a Winter's Night a Traveler," "Still Life with Woodpecker," anything Vonnegut.
Music all over the map. I LOVE good music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Garawal Festival, a marriage ceremony of the Wadabi people in the Sahel desert of Niger.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn...what makes people tick from coast to coast. How are we making the world a better place when the media is all doom and gloom?
