I've been to almost every state in the U.S. and love to spend time playing outside. I spent over 3 months backpacking around Europe solo. Originally from Atlanta, now living in the Colorado Rockies. Trying to save up for van life and to start 2 businesses - 1 dog sitting and the other being a remote life coach. Interested in spending some time living in Salida, Co to see if it fits me. This old soul is deep and happy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During some inner city volunteer work, there was a tough 12 year old, known for his anger, from a very poor area of the U.S. who spent a lot of time hiding that he couldn't read. I picked up on it and pulled him aside from the group to do some digging. He cried and told me that the other kids would make fun of him for not knowing how so he pretended to them, and his teachers, that he could. Every day I pulled him out of class and we huddled in the corner for a lesson. At the end of our time together he was reading and playing with the other kids. The difference was incredible and it changed my life. I will never forget him.
