ABOUT ME

I'm a queer 25-year old recent graduate from the University of Victoria. I work as a teacher on call in Victoria and Saanich (I teach English and French!), and I also work as a community support worker for adults with disabilities. I'm from a small town in BC, I love playing music, reading, and travelling. I'm really friendly, respectful, and open to meeting new people and trying new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was lucky enough to stumble upon someone who had a studio apartment in Paris available. Unfortunately they were out of town while I was there, but they stopped by the night before I left to have a drink & chat. It was wonderful, and SUCH a great experience, I felt so ridiculously lucky.

I love Amelie, and Wit, and Disney & superhero movies; my current favourite book is "This Much I Know is True" by Wally Lamb; current musical loves are Regina Spektor, Said the Whale, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Stornoway, Tim O'Brien, the XX, City and Colour, and so very very many others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to go to China in my last year of high school. It was the biggest culture shock I've ever experienced, and a huge game-changer in my life.
