About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to find mutual levels of downness

ABOUT ME

Here is a bit from a friend who was recently "advertising" for me on Facebook when I asked if he knew anyone in the destination of my next adventure: "I have a good friend who is traveling to Munich next week and, being broke, is looking for a couch (on which to sleep for a few nights). She's an excellent artist, very rad, and would surely buy food/beer/be a lot of fun."

All those things are true! I love eating and traveling and meeting those who like to eat and travel! I am a curious person who laughs at anything and eats everything. I have a twin and shared a room with her my entire life so I can do close quarters. I am flexible and outgoing and happy and clean and love meeting warm people who want to share their lives and thoughts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great experience once in Munich, would like to keep traveling this way but haven't had a chance really

Interests

right now I am researching contemporary jewelry and how it meets fine art culture... so I guess I would say anything you can think of that may (or may not!) fit into that scenario. Some simpler things always able to get me the most excited are as follows: pork, pizza, pork on a pizza, cheese, anchovies, riding my bike, fried things, guts, gold, geometric shapes, tall ceilings, church interiors.... where to stop

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in 2011 I went to Soverato in Calabria with my previous roommate for Christmas. The kindness of her family was overwhelming and I got to listen to the waves of the Ionian sea crashing as I fell asleep.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a few different versions of patty-cake !
I can talk to you all day about the power of jewelry as an expressive form of art! Or if you have a torch, I can teach you to solder! Or beat a piece of metal oh so tenderly so it stretches for miles!
and I want to learn more about how nothing is actually something!
and of course I want to learn about local food culture and how to eat cheap but well in whatever city i'm in!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Italy, Malta, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, United States
