Over a year ago, I joined the couchsurfing world primarily to host. Being a host has brought me joy and richness and friendships beyond anything I could have expected. I don’t intend to ever stop hosting as long as I am able, but for now, I’ve taken off on my own adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have found that it is the people that make a place and traveling to a new city or town is often incomplete without a friend or a local to show you around. I have found tremendous value and joy in all the friends I have met from different cultures and backgrounds over the years. I feel that couchsurfing is a wonderful way to extend these experiences and build new friendships across the country and across the world.

Interests

All things active and outdoors. All things food or drink. All animals great and small.

My favorite outdoors activities are trail running, mountain biking and snowboarding. I also do a bit of hiking, backpacking, surfing, kayaking and climbing. I carry a decent amount of gear in the camper and am always down to try something new. I currently have a Mountain Collective pass which is the force leading our travels right now. It's taking us from New Mexico to Banff and plenty of places in between.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't feel terribly competent at anything in particular but I can teach you a little about snowboarding or mountain biking or being outdoors.
Naturally, I love sharing stories about traveling, couchsurfing, and tiny home living.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am passionate about sharing my love for the outdoors. Whenever I travel, exploring an area's outdoor attractions is my first priority. Want to hike a new trail? Try a new outdoor sport? Camp under the stars? Let's do it! I love to share laughs, meals and stories with both hosts and surfers, what better way than sharing these over a campfire?
