I listen to all sorts of music, but mostly stick to the Indie and Rock/Alternative genres. My favorite artists change constantly, and my friends always joke at me because I always have a song in my head, basically creating a soundtrack to my life. As far as books go I love the classics, and do enjoy reading Kerouac as well.

One amazing thing I've done is hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Asheville, North Carolina portion. I think this was a really amazing thing to me because it was a very spur of the moment trip. I had barely enough money to cover gas and a little food, and didn't even bring a tent! It was a very liberating trip, and I saw some of the most beautiful sights I have seen in the area.
