ABOUT ME

I'm from the states where I lived and went to college in the Wisconsin/Minnesota area and then moved to Oregon, where I waiting to figure out my next step. It turned out to be Peace Corps, Zambia. Following that experience, I lived in the mountains in Colorado for a year, and then I found out I had been accepted into a master's program at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I lived in London, near Tower Bridge, and now I'm living in Central Amsterdam. I enjoy traveling to/finding the "less traveled" destinations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to meet new people who could either show me some interesting things or point me in the right direction. I'd also like to return the favor, but right now my living situation doesn't allow for visitors.
I LOVE MEETING UP WITH PEOPLE, BUT I ONLY RESPOND TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE REFERENCES OR PEOPLE WHO ARE VERIFIED. I hope you understand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently couch surfed in Swaziland and Mozambique and discovered this is the best way to experience a place.

I like variety. And to be outdoors as much as possible. Hiking, snorkeling, a bit of photography, climbing mountains, eating good food, listening to diverse/good music, or just being with good people.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in a mud hut for 2 years (yep, no electricity, no running water)

I lived within a rural Zambian village for 2 years and in the process, I learned alot about Zambia in general. I've also learned to appreciate and enjoy this way of living: without running water or electricity, in a grass thatched hug...atleast for now. I enjoy meeting people and learning about different areas and cultures.
