ABOUT ME

I worked in banking and financial services for a couple years and wanted to take a break from corporate America. I wanted to challenge myself and learn more about what the world had to offer. Until 2011, I had never traveled outside of the U.S. and now I live in Africa! I love what I do, I love the experiences I've had and the incredible people I've met from all around the world. I believe hosting foreigners is one of the most honorable and respectful things anyone could do and I'm constantly trying to get better at it. Looking forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I open my home to others and hopefully will be traveling later this year to Eastern and Western Europe and will want to meet up with other couchsurfers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped my mother deliver a baby in our obstetrical clinic! I also swam with wild dolphins in Pemba bay.

How to cook really good Mozambican baked beans. I also enjoy just good philosophical debates - these help me learn and figure out who I am.
