I'm on Couchsurfing to meet interesting people and places. I believe traveling is all about experiencing the culture of where you go. That is hard to do when staying in a hotel. Whenever I have a few days off I want to spend my time living life to the fullest and never having a dull day!

I’m a huge book worm. My favorites series include: Game of Thrones, Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and too many more to count. Not crazy about watching TV but I love to watch a good movie every now and again. I'd have to say that Phantom of the Opera takes the prize though for first place. I enjoy watching any good movie though whether it's action, drama, thriller, or romance. Music is an interesting topic. I grew up in a diverse family that liked a million different types of music so I have a strange taste (includes just about every genre). My top artists would include Linkin Park, Nat King Cole, Kenrick Lamar, Josh Turner, Dean Martin, and Machine Head. Depends on my mood for music, but I enjoy anything that has a good beat!

Cliff diving. Was an absolute thrill. When I visited the Havasupai Indian reservation by the Grand Canyon they had several beautiful water falls ranging from 30ft to 200ft tall. The taller ones you couldn't jump off of, but were still swimmable at the bottom. I also went cliff diving at Slide Rock national park. The water was freezing since it was all running down from the Rockies though!

Staying with hosts for me is an experience. I would like to spend time with hosts and get to know who they are to build friendships. I love to cook and am more than happy to make dinner/breakfast for my hosts! I appreciate the hosts that let me stay with them and will try to make every effort possible to make it a great visit wherever I go!
