Hi I'm Kelly! I just graduated college with a degree in international studies. I'm currently teaching English in South Korea. I truly love what I do. I enjoy learning about different cultures, countries and people in general. I'm from San Diego, California and although I can't swim I love going to the beach and watching the sunset. I like to read travel blogs and I love taking or editing photos. I enjoy going to cafes and I love trying new foods.

This is my first time trying couchsurfing but I just want to meet locals so I can learn about the culture from a person who's actually lived it. I also want to meet people who also enjoy traveling to exchange experiences and hopefully make memories together.

I listen to almost every type of music but my favorite genres would be indie, korean pop and korean hip hop.

I love going to concerts and listening to live bands - I usually become a fan after seeing someone in person even if I knew nothing about them to begin with.

I'm into dystopian stories and currently my favorite is the Legend series by Marie Lu.

Haven't watched any movies recently but some of my fave are Pursuit of happiness, the X-men series, and She's the man. My favorite shows include: Monk, The Vampire Diaries and Full House.

I've been to 7-8 countries within the past 5 months and witnessed a lot of cultural differences that I would like to share with someone. I can share tips or places to visit in the countries that I have been to. I can also teach you how to cook Vietnamese dishes.
