ABOUT ME

Hi everybody, I'm Kelly! I've been told that I'm an enthousiastic person! I'm positive and friendly and enjoy meeting new people.
I graduated last summer from the art academy and now work as a freelance designer / illustrator / animator! Its really great, you can create and design pretty cool stuff, it's wonderful to have a job that's also your hobby.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that being positive and being good to others, will bring good in your life as well!

I also believe in the power of the mind. I truly believe that you can reach any goal that you can make yourself believe in. Be ambitious, but also be thankful for the things you've already achieved.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had the best time CouchSurfing during my roadtrip in North America!!! Hopefully it'll make my next trip just as remarkable! Thanks CS!
And people are also welcome to stay at my place in Utrecht, a very beautiful city in the Netherlands.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing made my roadtrip through North-America (USA West-Coast, Canada, Alaska) possible - and way better than I've imagined before I left! It really felt like I was on holiday with new friends some times! I loved the fact that I got to do the touristy stuff by myself - and afterwards all the cool local stuff with my CS hosts :) it added so much to the experience!!!

兴趣

I love doing what I do for a living!!! Creating animations, characters, storyboards. Making illustrations for books. Silk screen printing. Typography.
Modern art is a big interest of mine! I also love to travel, paint, read, see movies, explore cities, walking and hiking, reading, cooking, analog photography and meeting new cool people!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiked on the Chinese Wall for 10 miles, and then zip-lined my way back across a big lake next to the Wall!

Had a 10.000 km roadtrip in two months, covering the area from San Diego all the way up to Alaska! It was AWESOME! :D

I can make you a really nice dinner in exchange for hosting me and my friend! I love cooking and I'm also quite good at it! How fortunate!

I give paint workshops, so I can teach you how to paint! I can also teach you some design programmes, or how to draw storyboards or create characters! So much fun! And if you're not really interested in this stuff, I can teach you... hmm... Dutch? A cool language!
