ABOUT ME

I am constantly in search of opportunities for building connections. Living in Portland, I am surrounded by a sense of community that I hope to expand now as I begin to see more of the world. I was born in PA and moved to Oregon when I was 10. Over the years here I have acquired a love and respect of nature and native culture that have helped to shape who I am. Recently, finishing up my BS in public health, has left me with a desire to explore and see what is out there in the world before I make any decisions to go back to school. So here I am!

PHILOSOPHY

I am on a journey to find my true purpose! I refuse to fall into a meaningless 9-5 where my soul is not content. I am hoping that along the way I will learn more about myself and the world that I am a part of so that I may better find my place within it!
I believe that EVERYONE has a purpose and that we can all learn from one another. By listening to eachother and understanding one another maybe one day we can come to cooperate for a brighter tomorrow!

I am very new to CS and I am hoping to start hosting and making new connects at local events here in Portland!

I have a very diverse set of interests!
I enjoy studying most things related to natural health, herbs and native medicinals. I believe that it is important to live life in accordance with natural laws and try to do so as best I can. I compost, reduce, re-use, recycle, and try to do my part to reduce my impact. I ride my bike, as often as possible. Climbing is always a good time and slacklining helps me to stay centered. I enjoy getting out of the city for a good hike or float down a river. But I also enjoy all that the city has to offer! I consider myself somewhat of a pioneer woman in the sense that I try to make my own before I try and buy it. In general I am open to new ideas and activities!

Oh my.. I love so many books and artists its hard to say...
Music is essential to the soul and I appreciate most genres at different times. Every sound has a time and a place, but we all have our favorites. I listen to a lot of electronic based, experimental music.
I could dance for hours....
I suppose the same goes for books and movies... time and a place.

I once slacklined 400+ feet in the air across the Monkey face at Smith Rock in Oregon. Scariest f-ing thing I have ever done!
