ABOUT ME

I live in one of the most amazing places on this planet: San Francisco, CA! At the moment I work at a busy restaurant and just got a job as a Spanish teacher to kids! My main career goal is to be a Spanish literature professor because I loved my university experiences and had the best professors ever! I feel it in my bones to be a teacher and inspire. I feel a bit weird being grounded now in San Francisco now having an actual apartment with roommates, but at the same time really happy. I'm just so used to me and my backpack traveling the world...it's exhilarating which you all know! But thank god I have San Francisco and I'm in California to be able to explore things and cultural things around here! I would never survive in one of those boring US states (sorry don't be mad), but it's true! I have just recently decided that I am going to backpack South America in spring 2012 and would like to meet a seriuos person who would like to come with me! That would be cool! I'm the type of person who makes a plan and really follows through with it and goes for my dreams like South America since I really know you only live once!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that it's very important to appreciate everything that you already have in life, rather than contemplate what you don't. If you appreciate what you have, you are very rich. Appreciate even the little things that in reality aren't little, they are big, it's all in the way you think of them. As an overall philosophy I think that love, (not to be too mushy)is very important. Love of life, people, travel, everything, that is to truly live.

I´ve couch surfed once while traveling with Gaby. It was cool, would do it again!

Interests

I am really open to anything! I love traveling, hiking, biking, skating, wondering around...anything that has to do with exploring! I like the simple things too like having a coffee, reading a book, laying around in the park, etc..I love life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been in the jungle of Costa Rica and been close to dangerous snakes, been in the rainforest ziplining through it (hee hee like tarzan). I've been to Oktoberfest in Germany, St.Patty's in Ireland, Running of the Bulls in Spain...many things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned many things in life from teachers, people passing by, etc...
I already said this in my philosophy part, but...appreciate everything. Appreciate all that you have seen. You know, some people have never seen the ocean and because I know that it is even more amazing to me that I come from the western states where I have always lived by an ocean and always been able to drive to the beach. I always appreciate driving over the golden gate bridge, not every one gets to do that.
