ABOUT ME

I am very laid back, low maintenanced, and friendly. I love getting to know people and listening to people's stories and experiences. My main life goal is to get to see the world and meet as many people who inhabit this earth as possible. I am a free spirit and do not judge anyone for anything they may do or think.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that we are all called to live the best human experience we dream to live. The idea of the best human experience is different for us all, and I enjoy getting to know and see how other's are living out their dreams. I believe in the respect and immediate love for all humans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to someday be a host, but that will not be until I am older and have my own house in which I am able to host couchsurfers in. For right now, I would like to surf the couches of the world... or at least the couches of Europe while I backpack it in the winter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed before along with my friend Emma. We road tripped out to California from New Jersey in order to move her from the east coast to the west coast. We stayed with 3 different hosts, a college student couple with a sassy wiener dog named Gracie in Athens, Ohio. Another college student who lived alone named Bobby in Rolla, Missouri. And a couple from Armarillo, Texas. The hosts we met were super friendly, welcoming, and accepting.

Interests

I have a wide range of interests including traveling, reading, and art. Also, I enjoy watching sports, mainly the Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, and Sixers but I also enjoy the Patriots, Nationals, Celtics, Heat, and the Red Sox. I also like to play sports (even if I'm not the best at them). I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, softball, field hockey, and soccer/futbol.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a wide range of movies, music and books in which I am interested in. Obviously the classics like Forrest Gump, The Sandlot, and Pulp Fiction. Then I also love Wolf of Wallstreet, Dark Knight Rises, and other comedies. For TV shows, I enjoy watching Friends, M*A*S*H, Seinfeld, Orange is the New Black, Once Upon a Time, HIMYM, and a few others. Music, I love it all, but to name some: Dave Matthews, Sublime, Eminem, Blake Shelton, Shwayze, Patsy Cline, Counting Crows, and many many more. Books: The Fault in Our Stars, The Prison Angel, and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In May 2014, I went on a mission trip in Belize where I learned more about life in those 11 days than I have in my life time thus far. My mission experience provided me with so much clarity, lessons, and a new realization of the important things in life. Being that I woke up every morning with the sole purpose of serving the people of the town and my mission family on the trip, put new meaning to my life. I live to love and serve others in the purest way possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have road tripped across the US, coast to coast. That was an experience in which I feel like I could teach a lot about. Also, in August, I will be studying abroad in Italy. Through this experience, everything that I have learned in my major (Psychology) and minors (Theology and Art Studio) will be supplemented and challenged through my experience of studying abroad in Italy.
