Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in France and the UK. It was a great way to be introduced to a new place and meet welcoming, interesting people. I hope to be able to return this by hosting when I have a stable base.

Interests

Cycling, travels, camping, art, making things, earth buildings, food, reading, music, a little boogie once in a while.
I like spending time outside, even though I usually find myself in rather windy places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many types of books - art and architecture books, nature/environmental books, and fiction.

I recently enjoyed reading Momo (a German children's story about time thieves, among other things). Also Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides and Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck.

Some musicians/bands I like: Meursault, Efterklang, This is the Kit, and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in turf houses in Iceland and learning how to cut and build with turf. Really beautiful.
