ABOUT ME

Living and working in San Antonio, TX. I do as much traveling as I can during my vacation time. I want to experience as much of this beautiful world as I can. Grew up in a small town in Virginia, USA just like my parents did and their parents did before them. Wide range of interests. Most of all, interested in learning new things. Culture. Music. Nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have surfed a bit in the past. I also have been able to meet CS friends while traveling which has been great. Most recently, I found a wonderful community of friends through CS in San Antonio when I moved there a few years ago without knowing anyone. Hoping to surf some more in the future too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent 2 weeks in Puerto Rico during June 2008 and met many wonderful, generous people through Couchsurfing. Also, I was in Uganda during summer 2008 and I met up with several Couchsurfers there. We gathered a group of people and went to dinner and a movie. I was so delighted that CS helped me find instant friends halfway across the world from home! Truly a global community.

CS is definitely a great network for making the most out of traveling. CS has given me extensive proof of the kindness and generosity of humankind.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I did field research in a small farming community in Uganda during summer 2008 for my thesis. I was lucky enough to get to spend time with many farmers there and receive their unending hospitality.
