ABOUT ME

i am primarily interested in goofy free fun. i love finding quality friends to go on adventures with. spending hours swinging on empty swing sets in the moonlight. craftista extreme. i like to see things that i am interested in buying around town and then going home and making them myself. i've enjoyed riding around the west coast in a 22-foot veggie oil step van sucking waste veggie oil from dumpsters for weeks at a time. i've been one member of a juggling farm for a delightful summer than i loved and miss dearly.

PHILOSOPHY

i really like to make people think about their lives rather than sleepwalk through each day. i hate it when i get lost in the routine and bored. losing control over your actions and denying spontaneity leaves a lackluster excuse for my time on this planet. i live by the seat of my pants, ready to take off on an adventure at any turn. relearning how to play has been a real challenge, but i am getting the hang of it again. i like to do things for other people that make them feel warm and fuzzy about each day. i am very easily amused and think the small things aren't really so small in the long run.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

a lot of my friends are couch surfers and i just recently joined the phenomenon. i feel like i'll be a natural. now i just need to slow down and host a few new friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i juggle a lot, and a team of us often head off to juggling festivals where we end up sleeping on any floor that will have us. it's a fantastic community to be a part of and i have had some really great interactions around breakfast tables! bicycling excursions also foster the same kind of community and space sharing too!
