ABOUT ME

I grew up in Santa Monica and moved to Idaho in August 2009. I worked at the library in Santa Monica for 9 years. Now I am a full-time, all subjects, self-employed tutor. I moved to Costa Rica on November 16, 2016 so I could learn Spanish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm afraid I don't have a couch. I didn't bring one out here, but I do need to get one. When I do, it will be available to all couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experiences yet - but hope to, soon. I really am looking forward to meeting nice people from all over the world.

兴趣

There's really very little that doesn't interest me. I'm fascinated by everyone and everything. I ultimately graduated from UCLA with a degree in biogeography, but I think I must have majored in just about every academic subject before finally settling on just one.

I watch movies when I have the patience. I'm a pretty restless person, so I really have to be in the mood for a flick. I watch mostly foreign films, but there are some American movies that I've enjoyed. Some favorites include Shrek, Forbidden Games, Fanny and Alexander, Dick, The Way Home, Fanny and Alexander, and Dogfight.
I listen to all musical genres, but my favorites are country, folk, and classical.
I love to read! I'll read anything that's well-written. I read lots of non-fiction, but I'm no literary snob! I also enjoy good fiction.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hmmm...there are so many things I've done/seen that I personally found amazing. I'm easily amazed. I guess one thing would be flying over the Nazca Lines in Peru. It was fascinating!
