About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel, meet people, learn and train!
ABOUT ME
I am a free spirit, unwilling to settle down, I work seasonally in Northern Canada so that I may study and travel during the winter. For me, travel is appealing for meeting people and learning as much as I can, rather then running the tourist gauntlet.
I am a very open minded person. I am intrigued by everything and I am rarely phased by anything.
I try to always remain positive, life is to short to get bogged down by negative feelings.
I have a University degree in International Relations with a minor in French. I am considering Graduate School for multi-disciplinary study in Political Science or Indigenous studies, ideally a combination of the two. I am especially interested in colonialism, post-colonialsm and cultural revitalisation movements.

I love science fiction, fantasy and (supernatural) horror; books comics movies etc. Some of my fave authours are Atwood, Tolkien, and Lovecraft. I also read some political or historical non-fiction.
my main favourite music is Tool and Tikahiri, although I like plenty of other stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited Easter Island, one of the most amazing things I have ever seen!
On Fakarava I dove in an amazing pass. We went beneath an outcropping of coral to hide our bubbles and watched as hundreds of sharks drifted by in the current. This was no cheezy shark feeding put on to titilate, this was the real deal, beautiful creatures existing in their habitat. A sight to behold!
I traveled as a translator for a talented group of Polynesian performers who toured several First Nations communities in Western Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
My main skills I supose are in martial arts and swimming...I have taught both in my life. As for what I like to learn, I like to learn new foods and how to cook new things! I travel through my stomach more often than not!
