COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Staying with 'strangers' met on the plane or train in India and Israel, then official hosts in France, Germany, and Norway have solidified my belief that humans are great and interesting, surprising in all their differences, and spontaneously kind.

I enjoy hosting to pay it forward, though I've lived in a shared flat averse to the idea for the last few years. I do offer language lessons and happy to meet for a chat to lessen the occasional burden of being in motion.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I train-hopped across India all by myself just before my 20th birthday. It was exhilarating and terrifying at once. Two years later I found myself hitch-hiking across France and Spain, this time with an 18 year-old English transplant. Besides the monotony of nutella-sandwiches for days on end, I experienced what it means to be fiercely at ease.
