I grew up in a small town near Austin, lived in an even smaller Texas town for college, then lived in L.A. pursuing my passion for costume and backstage work. I'm known for being very dedicated to work and a bit of a busy bee. Most of the time I'm working a full time job plus doing professional backstage theatre work plus my own side project of jewelry/costume designing. I rarely sleep :)
I love the smell of coffee in the morning, the challenge of jigsaw puzzles, bright city nights, and although I may complain about my cat I secretly adore her when she snuggles in bed with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard a lot about it through my sister but I've always felt too busy to participate in it. After years praise she has finally convinced me to join and (like I do with everything) I'll jump in head first! Bring on the new friends and amazing experiences!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to be an extra in Mad Men a few times. Since it's a period piece I got to spend a lot of time in getting my hair/makeup done in a very specific way and I got to wear amazing vintage outfits. It was fascinating to work behind the scenes in a modality that I wasn't originally trained in. Plus, they made me look adorable!
