Denver made me sign up for a trip we're taking together, so I did. I probably should have, anyway. I'll let you know how my first surf goes.

I generally like most things, maybe that says something negative about my ability to sniff out crap culture, but I'll take that. What I really love? Meeting someone at a bar and having them write on a napkin or on the back of a receipt the titles of songs, books or movies I absolutely must check out.
