Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to do some travelling in the coming months-- would love to keep it on a budget and meet some great, like-minded people along the way! I get very inspired by hearing the stories of others-- would love to hear what you have to share about where you are from and your own journeys :)

Interests

I'm all about figuring out what inspires me and exploring it, even though it is usually out of my comfort zone! I love travelling and exploring and can't wait for my next adventures. I like to take my time and take everything in when I'm discovering new places. I have a huge interest in tiny homes and aspire to build and live in one in the future. I also enjoy exploring new interests as they develop-- currently exploring the realm of meditation and loving it so far :)

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS
Overall, I'd like to get back into reading more, but this is what I enjoy: Inspiring books by Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist, Manuscript found in Accra), I'm intrigued by anything dystopian/utopian/time travel/alternative human societies, hobby books (photography, tiny houses, knitting, furniture building), books where I learn about myself (currently working on The Power of Introverts by Susan Cain and Daring Greatly by Brene Brown), and also some fun, mindless reads.

MUSIC
- Sometimes soft indie pop or acoustic, sometimes electronic dance beats (and sometimes rock, progressive, pop, country, etc etc)! Depends if I'm dancing around my room, cleaning my house, or taking it easy. Songza playlists are my favourite as I love exploring new musical tastes-- share with me what you like!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived with a host family and helped at a daycare in a rural area of the Ecuadorian Andes. Such a humbling and amazing experience!
