I come from a small town in Northern California where as I work as a ballet teacher. I just recently studied in Madrid, Spain to better my Spanish and I truly had the best experience of my life and was heartbroken to leave, and then worked as an au pair on the Italian side of the Alps for 6 weeks. Now my best friend and I take off to travel through Europe by train--something we've been planning since we were very young. I crave to be in new places and experiences because one of my biggest fears is monotony in my life. I love going to the beach with friends and bringing our favorite food to watch the sunset, as well as watercolor painting and discovering new places both near and far from my home.

Location is only half of the experience when traveling. The only way to get to truly know the culture is to connect with people who know more about it than any travel guide could ever teach you.

I pretty much like any type of music but am a sucker for the oldies and 90s bands like No Doubt. Anything I can dance around to is great for me!

I pick up anything that looks interesting to me but I actually really enjoy journaling a lot more than reading

Conversation. I don't think I've ever stopped speaking for a minute in my life. I believe that visiting new places is only half of the experience--the only way to truly get to know a city is to connect with the people who live there.
