About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly but pretty calm-mannered, not very loud. I love to read and write, and I think travelling is one of the most important things a person can do during his/her life.
PHILOSOPHY
"I know one thing, that I know nothing" (Socrates). Although I admit, that can be tough to live by sometimes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hopefully some day I'll have a couch where I can host people, but at the moment I'm back with my parents while I look for a job. I'm happy to meet up, and hope to use CS more as I travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very little! I've met up with and been hosted by some pretty great people.
Interests
Films, writing, reading, music, travel (obviously), nature, philosophy, and art. I also love listening to people talk about something that they're genuinely passionate about-- even if it's something I know nothing about and don't understand, when that passion comes through, the conversation is bound to be interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Mount Whitney in California with my family a few years ago. We approached it from the West and got to take our time going through some beautiful Sierra scenery on the way-- it was SUCH a memorable trip. As we approached the top, I thought about how we were climbing the tallest peak in the continental US, and felt very proud of our group (especially my father, who had suffered a heart attack the previous year).
