ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old student at the Fashion Institute of Technology studying international business and living in Brooklyn. I grew up in Alabama (bring on the southern jokes), and I'm pretty new to New York. So far I love it! I stay pretty busy with a full-time school schedule, interning for a start-up digital marketing firm, volunteering for New York Cares, working part time, and playing as hard as I can.

Interests

This could turn out to be an infinite list as I can usually find some level of interest in most all things. Most notably I'm interested in friendly people, hot tea, primatology, and adventures (big and small).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, music, and books and I have a pretty broad spectrum of enjoyment within each of them so naming a few genres just won't do the trick. But if you insist:
I'd say I spend the majority of my time listening to rap, metal, and 70s era country. and then a little bit of everything else.
My favorite books are Lord of the Rings or Jane Eyre, but I also own every Caesar Milan book (where is the little blushing emoji face when you need him...).
And as far as movies... I really like the good ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four months traveling Asia back in 2009 and it was easily one of the best experiences I've got under my belt. Laos stole my heart; no contest. I can't wait to finish up school so my backpack and I can get going again!
