ABOUT ME

Well, what to say... My name is Kelsey and I am currently studying abroad in Bilbao, Spain. I absolutely love it here, as well as Europe in general, the atmosphere and way of life are so different from where I grew up and I am really enjoying the change and seeing an entirely new part of the world and way of life. I love to smile, in fact, I'm probably smiling 90% of the time, whether there's a reason or not. I am a very active person and love to go on hikes, play/learn new sports and, of course, traveling requires a lot of energy to see everything. I'm a very easy-going and flexible person, not high maintenance at all, and would be looking for a host/surfer who is very similar. I would love to be shown around the city if you have time, if not, I'm sure that I will get lost walking around at least a few times and end up seeing most of the attractions. Yeah, if you have any other questions for me, please feel free to ask! I'm an open book and would love to talk and have a conversation a couple times before we meet in person! Happy Surfing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm a student traveling around Europe, so I don't have a couch, but I would love to hang out and hear about other people's experiences traveling and couch surfing! I'm always down to get coffee or drinks and hang out on the beach.

I have yet to couchsurf, but I plan on changing this very soon!

Interests

I love to travel! I have such an enthusiasm for historical places and other culture's way of life, and I seriously want to go everywhere and see absolutely everything! I grew up loving sports, I still play tennis and volleyball on a regular basis and love to watch any sporting event that is going on. Water might be my favorite thing ever; between living right by Lake Tahoe and traveling to see the ocean as much as I possibly can, it just makes me happy. I waterski and snow ski and am trying to learn to snowboard, although I am very bad at it! Basically I am up for trying anything once and love every new adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read, especially a good crime novel! Danielle Steel is my guilty romantic girl addiction, but her books are just so good! Movie nights are my favorite, and I make the best caramel corn everrrr to go along with the movies! I love scary movies, although I am one of those people that really does get scared for like days, but I also enjoy laughing at a good comedy too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Arriving in Spain and seeing the countryside for the first time.
The first time I flew a plane by myself.
The view from the top of the Three Sisters when my Mom and I hiked up it (A mountain range in Sisters, Oregon, we hiked the south peak).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love playing sports!! I would love to teach you to play tennis or mess around with a volleyball on the sand, just the same, I want to learn what you like to do for fun!
