ABOUT ME

I'm a bright, friendly, and funny person. I love learning about new cultures and making friends wherever I go. I traveled outside of the States for the first time three years ago for a study abroad opportunity in England, and I've been dreaming about returning to Europe since the day I came home. My long-term plan is to apply for residency in Italy so that I can stay for longer than three months, but if that doesn't work out then I'll simply pick up and go somewhere new! I want to see so much of the world, and there is a wonderful sense of freedom in the idea that I don't know where I'll be for my next birthday.

Intereses

Obviously I love to travel, but I also really enjoy reading, writing, horseback riding, and music. When I visit a city I'm most interested in history, architecture, culture, and scenery. One of my favorite things to do is to wander a city, finding hidden markets and secret gems.

I've seen a lot of amazing things, but the craziest thing I've ever done was climbing into the Grand Canyon. Along the rim, there is a ledge about two hundred feet down that you can reach with some very careful climbing, and it's a narrow walk! There's nothing between you and the drop to the bottom of the canyon. I should mention that this is actually illegal and if the rangers catch you, you might be fined.

I have some knowledge of horses and therapeutic techniques for individuals with certain physical and mental disabilities, but my education is far from over. I'm a writer, and I really enjoy discussing the intricacies of fiction.
