ABOUT ME

Hi friends! My name is Kelsey and I'm from Hong Kong, a crazily small and busy city. Currently studying Film Making in university, but I enjoy travelling when school's off. I like meeting people who are with different passions and stories - these little great things are always inspirations for writing, or you know, for life and everything. I'd like to try and experience something new when I'm on a journey.

Recently I live in Honolulu for a student exchange program. Life's so different here in Hawai'i and I wish I can become a better person by the time I leave the Aloha State. Would love to meet travelers/locals. I love the Hawaiian culture and people with Aloha spirit.

I enjoy travelling solo but it's nice to have companions, too.
I consider myself a feminist (not very hardcore one, I reckon), a vegetarian, I have completely no opinion with people eating meat though.

PHILOSOPHY
When you start loving yourself truly, good things happen, or you start noticing that they happen.

Interessi

I can be very nerdy sometimes, I really enjoy reading, writing a bit myself, watching films for sure. Currently would like to hike more.
But in most of the time, I enjoy talking with people, sharing stories or even small thoughts.

Also, politics, cultures, films, linguistics, photography, literature, fine art, gastronomy, desserts, museums and simply strolling around.

Musica, film e libri

I like simple but insightful stories such as The Little Prince and The Alchemist. But basically I enjoy reading most of the interesting fictional stories.

I love movies. My favourite director in modern time is David Fincher. I also love animations, love Pixar and Hayao Miyazaki - children stories are the best stories ever.

Surviving for 20 years without being killed in plane crashes, or intoxicated by chemicals in food or anything like that - it's easy to die in this era.

And maybe it's amazing to see the stunning Northern lights before getting 20, too.

Teach? I'd rather say that's sharing.
Cantonese and Mandarin - although Mandarin is not my mother tongue. Hong Kong culture, which is purely (um maybe I should say mostly) amazing.
Sharing views in life and everything with people is one of my favourite things to do.

I would like to learn basic foreign languages - languages are just interesting.

I would like to learn to play a musical instrument - despite of my love in music, I can never master an instrument. I think it would be quite a challenge to teach me, so, are you ready? :D

I always love cooking for my hosts! Trust me your take-away Chinese fast food isn't authentic Chinese food. Well, to be honest mine isn't either, don't blame me in that case, I'm from Hong Kong!
