Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Pretend to be the person I want to be until I become her.
ABOUT ME
As a quick, adjectivey summary, I'd say: creative, smart, quiet, liberal, feminist, spiritual, geeky lady-type person.
I sing (not very well) in the shower, I dance at parties even if I'm the only one, I take books out on dates just the two of us. I write stories about spaceships or magic or sometimes magical spaceships. I am excited to eventually be somebody's eccentric aunt with blue hair and tales of travel in foreign parts that are probably not entirely factually accurate. I'm pretty good at thumb-wrestling.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone is worthwhile. Be kind. Connect. Don't be afraid.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm in the process of uprooting my whole life and turning it into something else. This involves a lot of travel and not actually having a place of my own for a while, so I can only surf at the moment. I look forward to being able to host one day, though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No experience yet. I've heard stories from friends who highly recommend it, though.
Interests
All caps for emphasis ART. If I could, I would spend all my time making pretty things, or having adventures in search of inspiration. I write, dance, draw, take pictures, make collages, and design clothes. However, since I am prone to procrastination and fits of hermitry, I also spend a lot of time watching TV online and playing video games. I love to read, especially sci-fi/fantasy novels and comic books.

Reading The Aeneid in a park on top of Gianicolo Hill in Rome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to blues dance, and I know a truly absurd number of sea shanteys and drinking songs. As for learning, I'm always interested in practicing the local language if it isn't English.
