Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sometimes hosting and (hopefully) sometimes surfing! I've been on here for several years now and haven't had the opportunity to do much surfing, but I'm hoping to change that this summer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pretty minimal CoachSurfing experience - only hosting. I've had friends tell me of their great experiences and I wanted to get involved. I'm hoping to connect with some locals in the East Coast area that I'm hitting up later this summer. Looking to make some fun East Coast connections and learn a few new things!

Interests

Theatre - Music - Dance (basically the performing arts), Teaching, Museums, Social Media, Technology (gadgets, etc), "Green" living, Coffee and Tea, Recycling, driving, most cities, food, reading, writing, dressing up, etc.

I'm interested in just about anything, obviously.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Any and all show tunes. I'll chat about Hamilton, Come From Away, and allllllll the way back to the classics! Try me!

MOVIES: Gosh, I couldn't choose! I like a lot of movies! However, TV shows get me talking! I'm a fan of Orange is the New Black, Younger, The Handmaid's Tale, and lots of documentaries.

BOOKS: I've been loving a lot of self-improvement books lately. I've enjoyed YOU ARE A BADASS by Jen Sincero, THE EXPECTATION HANGOVER by Christine Hassler, THE VIRGIN SUICIDES by Jeffrey Eugenides, and I still love a few classics: LITTLE WOMEN, THE SCARLET LETTER, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, and THE ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN.
