ABOUT ME

I feel like I used to be a far more interesting individual before nursing school consumed my life! Haha. But now that it is over, I am ready to really live life and explore this beautiful planet we live on!
I love to sing! I used to be in an acappella group called Mile-21 when I went to CU-Boulder. My boyfriend (who I met in this group) and I are still very involved in the acappella community and he has started a music recording and production business- KwikTrax.
We just moved down to Denver and we love seeing our friends as much as possible and biking around town to discover new places. I love entertaining and cooking and talking with good people.
I just graduated from nursing school this summer and passed my boards. I am now looking for a new graduate nurse position... so if you know of any... let me know! Haha.

PHILOSOPHY

I really live my life for other people. To me, there is no greater way to spend my life than helping people through the hardest parts of their lives. This is why I am a nurse.

I haven't had the chance to yet, but my boyfriend and I love meeting new people! We would certainly be willing to host and we are looking for many opportunities to surf!

None so far!!! Looking forward to it! My boyfriend and I are on a really tight budget right now, so this site is a lifesaver!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies- Death at a Funeral (the original one, not the re-make), Inception, The 10th Kingdom, Moulin Rouge, Clue, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Robin Hood Men in Tights, The Hangover, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Disney movies... I could go on forever.
Music- singing is my passion. So, I like some things that some people may not- like acappella and musicals. But I also love music I can dance to! But some artists I like are Rihanna, Destiny's Child, Beyonce, Josh Groban, Pink, Elisa, Christina Perri, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Mraz... I really love most all music.
Books- I haven't been able to read a book for pleasure for a long time! There are many that I need to read! I do love the Harry Potter books though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been fortunate enough to travel to Nicaragua several times to provide healthcare services to humans and animals, provide medications and vaccinations, and provide preventative care through community education.

I have the unique knowledge of a nurse. I love the human body and I love being able to help people with whatever ailments they have.
