I am a student currently residing in beautiful Victoria, BC. I moved here from Prince George a few years ago, when I realized that I needed a change of scenery. I have learned that I function significantly better when I remove myself from the familiar, and place myself in the unfamiliar. I am currently working, and saving up money to do some travelling abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard from friends that CS is an efficient and affordable method of travelling. I am not simply interested in a "free place to crash", but am also interested in meeting and interacting with new people, and exploring new places.

Interests

Pina Coladas, and gett - *ahem* - I enjoy going for long walks, either through rural, urban, or woodsy areas. I always enjoy getting out into nature, and enjoying the silence. However, I do enjoy the company of others, and love going out for drinks with good friends, or simply relaxing with a good movie. I am always interested in learning new and interesting tidbits - hence my internet addiction - and once I find a topic that grabs me, I find myself unable to let go until I have learned everything about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For nine months, I was a full-time volunteer for the "Katimavik" youth volunteer program (http://katimavik.org). It was one of the most personally rewarding and engaging experiences of my young life, and I would love to do something similar in the near future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking, and it i fast becoming a real hobby and passion of mine. If you allow me, I would more than love to create a delicious meal for you, if you allow me to stay at your home.
