I couldn't do a proper description but my circle of friends thinks I'm an easygoing girl, always smiling... The reality is a little bit more complicated! But I always get along with everybody, because I think everyone has something interesting to give and to take.
I currently live in Buenos Aires with my Argentinean boyfriend and another friend, I work as a freelance translator and enjoy every little thing this life gives to me!
I have several.. But the most important is that you have to respect the others, even if they are (very) diferent, tolerance is the key! I also try to keep a positive state of mind as often as possible, most of your life is what you decide it is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and being hosted is so great!! I've known wonderful people through CS, the most open-minded people I've ever met.
You meet people from everywhere, different in so many ways, but all of them have something special, because they all share the CS mentality. It's good to feel that people "give" and "receive" with the only purpose of sharing.
Music, people, civilisations, relationships, films, languages. I love learning, translating, chilling out, feeling good with someone and so on...
Music, Movies, and Books
Any film, book or music which transmits something, especially strong emotions.
I think I'm not fussy with films as long as it's not a stupid plot which doesn't bring you anything.
Among my favourites, you can find Hair, Gone girl, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, El hombre de al lado, Pulp Fiction, Años de calle, Siete cajas, any Almodovar movie, etc...
And a lot of latin movies, which is one my favorite cinema.
Some books... I loved '11minuts', Paolo Coelho. I quite like some Carlos Fuentes books. '1Q84', by Murakami. I'm currently reading 'Rayuela', by Cortazar, quite a huge and interesting task!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to share something that left you astonished, because we all received things differently: small things left me quite a strong impression, like encounters with people or places but it's just indescribable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm eager for learning how to draw, to sing, to play all the instruments of the world, to do yoga, to take nice pictures, to dance flamenco, tango, salsa.. It's never ending! I'm also currently learning Argentinean Sign Language.
Unfortunately my skills are quite common (and reduced) but I'm sure we could find something to exchange.
