Hi!!
My name is Ken and I am from Hong Kong. I moved to the US when I was 15 and I have been living in NYC for the last few years. I studied history in university and so I have always been fascinated with people from different cultures. I also studied languages (German and Spanish), and so I love practicing these languages or learning new ones (Portuguese currently). I work in finance but will be changing my career to try and start my own business, and I will also be moving back to be closer to my family in Hong Kong, so I will have 3 months to travel in Brazil! I've been to Brazil twice, and I will be there starting in February.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people in each country I visit to understand the local, authentic way of life, and not just what is written in guide books. I always learn something new, and it also broadens my perspective each time.

Interests

I love the outdoors. Hiking, swimming in lakes, jumping in the ocean, diving, biking, running, tennis, everything!

I love music. I play drums, guitar and piano. I love everything from jazz to salsa to samba to forra. everything!

I love traveling. I've got the travel bug! I've been to 6 continents and probably nearly 80 countries. And I want to explore the rest!!
