About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish something... anything.
ABOUT ME
You know those people who are always doing more things than there are hours to do them in a day? I'm one of those.
PHILOSOPHY
If it's not worth bleeding for, it's not worth doing. Apply it to jobs, skills, chores, board games, classes, people, and anywhere else you can and eliminate 90% of the chaff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly I host. I currently have no couch and a living room that I barely even use. It's full of drywall!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My previous roommates had been doing this for years and has a pretty impressive map of guests. I like hosting, and figured I should get in on some of this too.
Interests
I build things, mostly from wood, paper, sticks, computers, or garbage. I fix things, mostly with wood, paper, sticks, computers, or garbage. I'm really into electronics, programming, bookbinding, papermaking woodwork, lutherie, gardening, cartoons, bits of wire, things attached to those bits of wire, leatherwork, polishing my boots, and I guess linguistics (I like, major in that one or something)
- running
- electronics
- gardening

Music, Movies, and Books
old books, klezmer, big beat, new wave, russian rap, flamenco
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once found this fortune in a cookie that said "The wise man, like the whale." That was pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you to pick a lock because we keep losing our couchsurfer keys. Also, I run the local locksport group, so it's good practice.
Will also teach phonology, but you're gonna have to get me drunk first.
