My first taste of travel was as a Rotary International youth exchange student at 16 years of age. I lived in Germany for one year with a host family. Now I live in Paris, French where I study French full-time so that (hopefully) I can find climate work in France!

I'm always seeking another opportunity to travel. I love outdoor adventures, trying new things, and enjoying a glass of wine on a terrace with good company or a good view.

I'm really good at getting lost and laughing at my mistakes. Travel is my greatest passion. I hope to meet you and explore your city, or show you mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of staying in a home (or apartment, condo, etc.) while on the road. Houses can make a strange place familiar! Hotels are expensive and, as a solo traveler, can be lonely to come home to every night. Sometimes I enjoy hostels, but lately I've enjoyed having my own space and meeting locals. This is why I'd love to return to the Couchsurfing platform...to meet locals, practice French, travel, and really get to know this country I now come home!

I read a range of books...some history, business, romance, fiction, and more. My favorite movie is Avatar (the blue people one). I have a pretty wide spectrum of music tastes, but mostly listen to whatever is popular at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my old job, backpacked for 8 months, and then decided to change my career to climate and move to France!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a masters in environmental policy and am passionate about low-waste and environmentally-conscious living. I'd happily show you some at-home recipes or teach you more about how to live sustainably. I believe sustainability should be affordable and convenient!
