CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I've made a pretty radical life decision (for me at least) - I was working as a Campaign Manager / involved with politics when the political party I was working for was wiped out at a recent election. Every time I've travelled to SE Asia I've hated going home, and have decided that it will now be my home. I'm studying to teach English in Bangkok from the end of May to the end of June, and will then be heading to Vietnam to help my parents set up a company - from there who knows...
PHILOSOPHY
It's all about happiness.
Interests
I love to travel, take photographs (would never consider myself a photographer though), to write, good conversations, coffee...
- seafood
- coffee
- partying
- politics
- traveling
- mountains

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sounds a bit corny but the sunset from the docks of Kota Kinabalu in Borneo really has to be seen to be believed, as does the night seafood market nearby...then heading through the mountains to Sandakan (which seems trapped in the 1960s) where you can stand at the top of a building and it feels like you're at the edge of the world.
Christmas Eve in Hanoi, Vietnam is chaotic and brilliant, pretty much everyone in the city converges on the area surrounding Hom Kiem lake!
Waiting for a 2am train to take me and two friends from Ljubljana, Slovenia to Florence, Italy. The hostel we'd stayed at previously was having a special Slovenian liqueur tasting night. Thankfully unlike my companions I didn't combine it with 3 euro whiskey. They both clutched onto a shoulder and I led the way to the station. Once there the drunker of my friends dropped his bag containing his passport, wallet, ipod and phone. It was found by some less drunk locals who I had to bribe with several packs of cigarettes to get back. On another note, the scenery from Florence to Sienna is about the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
