We are a happy open minded couple, Kendal (33yrs) and Richard (31yrs). We have been living in Australia for two years, since July 2024 we quit our jobs and decided to see as much of the world as we can, we've travelled in Asia and now we are exploring Central and South America.
We have been in Mexico City for 3 weeks. We enjoy meeting new people whilst experiencing local cultures, traditions, different ways of life and of course improve our Spanish!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have been using workaway to meet local people on our travels and have been told couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and learn about local cultures.

Interests

We enjoy spending time socialising, chilling on the beach and exploring new areas, whether that be in cities, nature or by the beach. We enjoy reading a good book, hiking and exercising as well as relaxing and taking in our environment.

Working at a dog shelter in Thailand was amazing, helping so many ill dogs has been a highlight of our trip so far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, sharing of ideas and interests, relaxed environment and friendly natured people who are happy to spend time with our hosts but can also keep ourselves occupied. We are both clean and tidy and always willing to lend a hand when needed.

We can help anyone learning English, cook meals, Richard has renovated his own house and can offer advice and Kendal enjoys crafting and sewing and can help with those tasks.
