I am currently traveling the world with my fiancé-- training at different Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies, competing in BJJ tournaments, teaching BJJ seminars, and experiencing new and lovely cultures! I've lived in the United States (southern California) my entire life, but went to University in Canada. I have traveled to a few countries with Team USA Wrestling, but this is my first big adventure outside of an organization. I have just come to Europe from Australia.
I love music, food, anything athletic or outdoors, sightseeing, asking people about their culture, finding the best coffee shops, and eating ice cream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always believed that the best way to feel the soul and culture of a place is to immerse yourself as much as possible. My favorite way to travel is to stay with local friends!! It allows me to meet and learn about so many amazing people. I've always stayed with people I've met through BJJ, but now I'm trying to meet people outside of my normal circles! :)
