Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New to Couchsurfer. Looking to be hosted and to host.

Short term: Looking for a place to land for a few days after I move. Also hoping to gain some local insight into good places to live, eat, recreate, etc.

Long term: Interested in meeting new people. I did a fair bit of traveling a few years ago, but between graduate school and work I'm more tied down now. I'm looking to meet new people and facilitated their exploration of my area.

Interests

I enjoy just about everything outdoors: hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, biking, boating, lounging, etc. Live music and good beer are also high on my list of things I enjoy.
