About Me

I am a Japanese 35-year-old strong pizza lover. My passion is eating and cooking. To control my weight, running and swimming are eccential for my life. After graduating from a Japanse university with a bachelor of law, I've worked for business consulting companies for 11 years. Currently, I'm studying business as an MBA student in Lisbon, Portugal, but soon I'm graduating. Now, I'm planning to travel to several countries in Europe and hopefully interacting with lots of local people. Sharing thoughts, ideas and cultural things with others always gives me a positive impact on my life and making unforgettable memories with people whom I meet in each city always brings me more meaningful time. I, as a typical Japanse people, am humble, amiable, neat and calm. Though I sometimes participate in lively parties, usually, am fond of spending time by myself or with 2 to 3 friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By chance, one of my friends taught me this site. Listening to her, I felt this concept perfectly fit my preference.
I would like to make friends all over the world and to spend our time not only in their host home but also in my home. In this way, we can share each thought and cultural thing more deeply and more effectively.

Instead of paying to hotels, I am willing to buy some foods, drinks or to invest in enjoying local experiences with hosts. In this way, I believe not only bills but also our time will be more meaningful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participating in a 24-hour marathon with my friends two years ago.
we took turns running alternatively for 24 hours.
It was reckless and we had got totally exhausted during the run, but that experience was an unforgettable and precious memory for all of us.

Teach, Learn, Share

Throughout teaching and sharing what I am knowledgeable about, I can always learn something new.
Co-learning or peer learning is one of the best ways to lift up myself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Thoughts and Knowledge related to Japan including Japanese, history, cultural things and so on.
Some Japanese comedies, animes, arts, music, movies or other cultural things are so unique. I would like to share what few foreigners know with hosts.
- How to make a pizza. As I've been a pizza lover since 4 years old, I sometimes make pizza from a dough.
- If you want, we'll discuss Business topics, political topics or other academic or professional topics.
