About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finish writing and publish a book!

ABOUT ME

if i objectively explain about myself, i am a kind, humble and easy-going person. and i'm a cosmopolitan. what else...
but those are just objective descriptions by other people. it's still very hard to describe myself because i am still trying to figure out many parts of myself. and i want to figure out who/how i used to be and how my personality had been formed. and i think that it is true to everyone to some extent because who really knows all about yourself? if you knew everything about yourself by yourself, no one would make a mistake ever, right?
i used to be a very selfish, immature, ignorant, naive young man who did not like studying and reading books(and i still am to high dgree). what i had in my mind was how to look good and how to get attentions from cute girls. and i was actually quite popular among girls and had a steady girlfriend all the time. and i didnt have any good male friends at the same time. therefore, i made many mistakes. its very embarrassing to scoop out my own narcissism, but its all true and nothing to hide now because i accept that myself who does not have any trustful human relationships in my life. im now mid 40s, and what im slowly realizing is that human relationship is so fragile, and now i finally want it in my life although i am not sure if i can.

what i've been concerned with most with great interest for the last several years is how to build up something philosophical by my own experiences and life story. in another word, ive been interested in/working on developmental psychology.

PHILOSOPHY

everyone is right as much as wrong.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Kes (England, Ken Loach), Still Life (China, Jia Zhangke), Pather Panchali(India, Satyajit Ray).

Music: Alai Oli(Russia), Los Kjarkas(Bolivia), Wang Fei(China). i basically love any kinds of music from EDM to Chinese pop, Bollywood and cumbia!

Books: i like nonfiction books. it is maybe because i traveled a lot. for example, Canadian Eskimo (Canada, HONDA Katsuichi) and Voyage of Mongol (Afganistan, UMESAO Tadao).
at the same time, i like Japanese manga as well. my favorite manga artists are Anno Moyoco, Higashimura Akiko and Okazaki Kyoko.
they are much more interesting than intepretive or explanatory feminism/gender books because those manga are far from academic world. Japanese manga written by female artists are basically all about reality, and consciously or unconsciously, we human beings only have desires for freedom in reality. what else?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

some say that i have done great journey, but i think i have done nothing amazing that i can tell.
do you think that you have to accomplish something amazing in your life?
if you can not achieve anything amazing, are you a loser of your life?
i don't think so.
you are already amazing as who you are.
and we just do what we want to do in order to figure out and understand who you really are.

Teach, Learn, Share

when i travel, i got bunch of questions. so i ask a lot of questions to host.
when i accept guests, id rather think about guest's questions together.
and it made me think about my country and myself objectively.
and it is fun and great experiences for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

i want to share your honest impressions and opinions about Japan and Japanese people with my honest opinions about them as Japanese.
no honesty, no communication.
no humility, no progression.
no Fake. no compliment.
